We are sorry to inform that the planned 1st Arctic Indigenous Peoples' Food Congress in Kautokeino, Norway, March 9-13, 2002, is cancelled, due to the international corona virus outbreak. This decision has been made by the head of the medical authorities in Kautokeino together with the Mayor in Kautokeino and the organizers.
Though situation is of course mostly regrettable and sad, organizers of the event must follow the decisions and guidelines of the health authorities in Norway.

Vi beklager å måtte informere om at den planlagte matkongressen for arktisk urfolk 9.-13.mars 2020 i Kautokeino, er avlyst på grunn av spredning av koronavirus internasjonalt. Dette er gjort i fellesskap med kommuneoverlegen i Kautokeino, ordføreren i Kautokeino og arrangørene, se vedlagte avlysningen.
Fra arrangørenes side er situasjonen selvsagt høyst beklagelig og trist. Uansett, vi må følge retningslinjene og rådene fra helsemyndighetene i Norge.
